Title:
Sharkticon
Description:
Sharkticon (Combat Class, 2004)
Accessories: 2 missiles
Known designers: Aaron Archer (Hasbro)
Energon Sharkticon transforms into a Cybertronic submarine/battleship with dimly animalistic styling. (He lacks any kind of "jaws”, despite what his official bio says.) His small gun turrets are movable, plus his side panels can extend outward to reveal spring-loaded missile launchers for his "Hyper Mode”. He has two "dead” Mini-Con ports, one on each forearm.
Sharkticon’s alternate mode was meant to resemble the Generation 1 Decepticon starship Nemesis. Aaron Archer, at one BotCon panel, even admitted that he still thought of the character as "Nemesis”, and had trouble recalling the released toy’s final name.
Sharkticon was redecoed into the Timelines Sharkticons and United Axalon, and retooled into Timelines Sky-Byte.
