Another Dark-Energon-infused iteration of Bumblebee, but still an Autobot and apparently not a brutal killing machine, Prime: Dark Energon Bumblebee is a BigBadToyStore-exclusive redeco of "Robots in Disguise” Deluxe Class Bumblebee, and is cast in translucent glittery-gold and opaque blue plastics as an homage to Generation 1 Goldbug.
Though he was packaged on an individual card, he was initially sold as part of a set with the Dark Energon versions of Knock Out, Starscream, and Wheeljack. He was eventually made available on his own, and the Dark Energon Series toys were eventually made available in Singapore as mass-retail releases.
