Part of the fifth assortment of TakaraTomy Prime toys, Igu is available only with his larger partner, the Jet Vehicon, in Japan. Igu comes as an unassembled, unpainted "kit”, using stickers for detail, and transforms from a robotic iguana into the Vehicon’s shielded "beam gun” arm-cannon. He is covered in 5 mm posts and holes as part of the Arms Micron gimmick, allowing him to combine with other Microns to form bigger and more ridiculous "Combo Weapons” and "Super Combo Weapons”.
For some reason, the boxback labels Igu’s Energon Crystal as a "Power” type, which is green, not the clear-white of the actual toy. This is likely just a printing mistake, possibly because the very similar Noji uses a green "Power” Crystal. Igu is listed as "Natural” in the "Arms Up mission” online game, and he’s part of a Super Combo Weapon with two other "Natural” types (see below), so...
This mold was also used by the two Arms Minicons, Pillage and Plunder, in the BotCon 2014 Dread Pirate Crew set.
