Premiering in the fifth wave of Cybertron Scout-class toys, Swerve is a redeco of Clocker, transforming into a Velocitronian open-topped race car, complete with driver’s and passenger’s seats. Plugging a Cyber Planet Key into his rear assembly pops up a pair of thrusters with pull-out non-firing blaster barrels. This assembly becomes a hand-held weapon for robot mode. He also has a pair of removable side-pipes that can also be used as hand-weapons.
This mold was also used to make the live-action movie Clocker. It was further redecoed and retooled to make the BotCon 2006 exclusive versions of Cheetor and "Unit-2”. It is also the basis for the numerous non-toy Maximal Command Security Force characters.
