Released as part of the Dinobots Unite subline imprint for the fourth year of the Cyberverse toyline, Ultimate Class Volcanicus is a big and simple toy that transforms from robot mode to a dragon-esque beast mode and features an Energon Armor gimmick. While in robot mode, pull down on a section on either side of the torso, and the Energon armor will flip over the top of the toy, placing helmets on both the robot and beast mode heads. Even though the toy represents a Dinobot combiner, it can not be disassembled into its individual components. Like the other Bumblebee Cyberverse Adventures Ultimate Class toys, it uses a ”Twist-N-Change” transformation. While in beast mode, if a latch on the back is pressed, the torso portion spins as the knees upright themselves into robot mode.
Stock photos of Volcanicus are mistransformed, depicting his beast mode hind section uncompressed. Like many later Cyberverse toys, Volcanicus was not officially revealed and was found via online listings. Of note, the toy’s cross-sell incidentally revealed Ultimate Class Hot Rod.
