Revenge of the Fallen Superion is a redeco of Energon Air Team/Superion Maximus combiner. Superion is composed of his five team members, with Silverbolt forming his central body component. His limbs’ energon weapons form his hands and feet. Similarly to Generation 1’s Scramble City combiner teams, Superion features universal connection points for the limbs, allowing many different combinations and even swapping of limbs from different teams.
Superion was exclusively available at Target stores in the USA and at Zellers stores in Canada, and as a mass market release in the United Kingdom. His components were not available separately, only in a combiner five-pack.
Like Bruticus Maximus, this toy was originally intended to be released as part of the 2008 Universe line as Generation 1 Superion, but was ultimately only released in Universe packaging on non-US markets such as Singapore and Australia, whereas the USA, Mexico and Canada got the toy in Revenge of the Fallen packaging instead.
