This version of Sideswipe is a Walmart-exclusive redeco of Sidearm Sideswipe. Featuring a new racing-themed deco, he is one of the most fanwank-filled mass released toys ever, featuring a small TransTech Autobot symbol on the rear fenders, an endorsement of "Lithonian Drivetrain” on the front fenders, another for "Maccadam’s” on his trunk, one further logo that for "Sun bro”, another ad for "Axalon Rattraps” (with the slogan "Safe. Humane. Yeah, right!” underneath), and finally the number 04, a nod to the original Sideswipe’s Japanese ID number. Oh, and he’s particularly blue and yellow.
Sideswipe’s stock photos are slightly different from the final product, rendering his 04 in a different, non-italicized font and the front portion of the car mode having a strange faint checkerboard pattern painted on.
He also looks not unlike Speed Stars Bluestreak.
He was made available the UK as a Sainsbury’s exclusive, and in Australia and New Zealand as a Kmart exclusive
