Part of the fourth wave of Activators, this version of Megatron is a very simplified, roughly-Basic-sized version of his Earth mode. His spring-loaded transformation from vehicle to robot mode is activated by a single switch on the back of his copter mode. A simplified transformation means most of his Helicopter kibble hungs on his back. Unlike most Animated Activators, Megatron features a sculpted insignia.
Despite having a cannon on the bottom of his vehicle mode, he does not possess one on either arm in robot mode, and the robot mode art in the instructions still depict him possessing a detachable fusion cannon accessory.
