Title:
Dirt Boss
Description:
Dirt Boss (Scout Class, 2009)
TakaraTomy ID number: RD-08
Known designers: Eric Siebenaler (Hasbro)
Part of the first wave of Revenge of the Fallen Scout Class toys, Dirt Boss transforms into a bright-green and grey forklift. The loading mast cannot raise or lower, but it can tilt at a hinge near the carriage. Inside the cab, there is a seat and a (non-functional) distinctive forklift steering wheel. In robot mode, Dirt Boss’ vehicle forks are mounted on his arms as blades.
Dirt Boss’s Hasbro stock photography shows him sporting grey forearms and hands with green forks, but on the toy itself, these colors are reversed. The stock photos also sport more red on the chest.
This mold was also used for Deadlift.
Notes
Dirt Boss shares his name, color scheme, and alternate mode with a different Dirt Boss. Additionally, his body design is nearly identical to Scrapper from the first movie’s video game.
