Part of the only assortment of "Basic” toys under the Playskool Big Adventures brand, Mototron is a redeco of his wave-mate Speed-Bot, transforming into a black sportscar with red windows in a few simple steps.
This mold was redecoed and mildly retooled a fair amount, to make Aero-Bot II, Cop-Bot, Fire-Bot, Prowl-Bot, and Taxi-Bot.
