An Ivy League graduate and star collegiate athlete, the world seemed to be at Leonard Brown’s feet, but he couldn’t fight the urge to serve. Witnessing the massacre in Munich in 1972, Brown swore to do whatever he could to protect and serve American assets at home and abroad. He joined the Marine Corps and never looked back. As one of the lead members of Eagle Force throughout the 1980’s, Brown’s career took off, but once the anti-terrorist squad was disbanded, he left the Marines and elected to join the Army’s Officer Candidate Program, wanting to have a larger part in the role of protecting world interests. By the time he was minted as a Brigadier General, R.I.O.T. was making their big push on the world stage, and he stepped in to develop the next generation of Eagle Force.
