The Transformers Recoil was first released in 1987, boxed with the Targetmaster version of Kup. Like most Targetmaster weapons, his transformation is simple: simply fold his legs up and the barrels of his gun form are revealed. Recoil could be placed in either of Kup’s hands or in a plug in the middle of his rear tray. This resulted in a noticeable difference between Kup’s Targetmaster mold and his earlier release: his hands and rear tray needed to be retooled to add pegholes large enough to hold his partner.
This mold was also used to make Barrelroller.
