Part of the seventh wave of Legacy Voyagers, Legacy: Evolution Bludgeon is a redeco and new-head retool of Legacy Tarn, based on his appearance in the 2021 IDW comic annual, transforming into a Cybertronian tank. Like Tarn, Bludgeon’s tank turret can detach as part of the Evo-Fusion gimmick, and the barrels can split off and peg into the turret itself to make an extra-long fusion cannon. His hands feature hinged knuckles, allowing them to open and close, but are unfortunately exposed on the tank mode’s rear end. Unlike Tarn, Bludgeon includes a new sword accessory for samurai action with a 5 mm post that allows for storage in both modes.
Unfortunately, being a retool of a different character, it appears that the cavity for the head was not designed with Bludgeon’s helmet in mind; the tips of his crest tend to scrape against the inside, and it takes quite a bit of finagling to avoid this (pushing the head to either side of the cavity is particularly helpful). Exercise caution when transforming.
