Ympes (Imps) are small, demonic beings that exist only to serve their Ybram (master). They are feared for their loyalty, ferocity and sheer number. Ympes possess sharp teeth, horns and claws, and can become ablaze when bloodlusted.
Although Ympes are virtually immortal, they can be damaged by certain weapons and enchantments or be kept out by wards.
Ympes may be bound and contained in old relics, such as
books, swords, boxes and amulets, and may be summoned only by their master. Possession of these relics will result in nightmares, unexplained diseases and eventually, death.
