Legacy: Evolution Toxitron Collection "G2 Universe Sideswipe” is a redeco of the above Kingdom Sideswipe, based on the conceptual Generation 2 yellow & teal deco (see "Notes” below). Interestingly enough, he uses Red Alert’s head, and his instructions even include the latter’s light bar in the images shown transforming it. The rear segment of the missile is slightly remolded from prior versions.
Sideswipe and Dead End were packed at only one each per case of eight toys, and as such ended up being highly picked-over compared to the other three Deluxes, which were all at two per case.
The Toxitron Collection was exclusive to Walmart in the United States. Sideswipe and several of his wavemates were listed by various overseas retailers, and even released at Walmart stores in Canada[9] prior to any official announcement by Hasbro.
