Hightower transforms into a red crane truck. His crane-boom detaches to form a massive cannon with flip-out barrel, and his small hand-held pistol stores in his boom-operator’s compartment. The Takara version’s instructions depict a third "gimmick mode” where the cannon is simply flipped forward in vehicle mode, and the cabin is flipped up to reveal the handgun. Hightower can form both arms (simultaneously) or either leg of Landfill. Hightower can also combine with each other if one purchases 3 identical toys.Like the Ultra Magnus from the same line, Hightower is a recent example of a partformer; in order to complete his robot mode, you must remove his crane boom/pilot cabin part and change it into his head and backpack and then attach it once his body is transformed.This mold was also used to make the Universe Decepticon Hightower
