As a young boy, Anakin Skywalker was presented to the Jedi Council as a candidate for Jedi training. Despite some reservations, the Council ultimately agreed to let him train under Obi-Wan Kenobi, and over the years, Anakin grew into a powerful Jedi. However, the Council’s concerns would soon prove justified. Succumbing to the dark side, Anakin transformed into Darth Vader, Dark Lord of the Sith, and became a loyal servant of Emperor Palpatine, leading Imperial efforts to crush the Rebellion. Driven by his allegiance, Vader was even prepared to kill his own son, Luke Skywalker. But in their final confrontation, Luke’s earnest pleas awakened the remnants of good buried deep within Darth Vader.
