A superb old rum from Peru, Ron Millonario made thi XO from molasses and distil it in column stills before maturation in American white oak barrels. The result is a smooth, sweet, creamy sip pin’ rum.
The nose is spicy and sweet with the alluring qualities of an unlit cigar, spice, black pepper, calves leather, sweet cedar and potpourri, as well as thick manuka honey.
The palate is creamy golden syrup, treacle, cooked fruit, crumble with thick custard and cocoa.
The finish is allspice and golden syrup.
