Description:

A naturally flavored cherry liqueur that was created in Denmark in 1818. Its deep red color and natural cherry flavor are produced by aging a mix of crushed Danish cherries with a spice blend in neutral spirits for five years. It has long been popular, but has seen increasing use in modern cocktails because of the artificial cough syrup-like taste of many cherry liqueurs.
