Created exclusively for Coterie members, we’ve finished our unpeated Islay single malt in rich Amarone wine casks, creating a dram with notes of caramelised walnuts, sweet blackcurrant jam, toasted malt and a gentle, warming spice.
Nose:
Packed full of cherries and wild berries, with caramelised walnuts, vanilla and a touch of espresso
Palate:
Initial sweetness of black figs and blackcurrant jam are met with toasted malt, cocoa, a warming cinnamon spice and a gentle hint of tobacco
Finish:
Lingering finish with raisins and a sprinkle of black pepper
