Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whiskey
This limited release of cask strength Single Malt from the family-owned distillery has been distilled using only Fife barley. It is expertly blended from two types of casks; ex-bourbon ex-STR (shaved, toasted & recharred) red wine barriques. After Kingsbarns spirit has been matured in these casks, the result is a fruity, complex and light Whisky.
Nose:
Baking spices immediately to the fore, with orange oil, vanilla pods, cherry tobacco and a touch of apricot.
Taste:
Sticky stem ginger pudding, alongside freshly grated orange zest.
Finish:
Good length with wood spice, clove, rhubarb and ginger jam.
