The fifth release of The Lakes Distillery Whiskymaker’s Reserve single malt has been matured in a combination of oloroso sherry, Pedro Ximenez sherry and red wine casks, made with Spanish and American oak. Aromas of red apples, polished oak, chocolate and rich Devonshire cream fill the nose, complemented by notes of pecans, walnut, baklava, candied papaya, coffee, toasted brown sugar and clotted cream throughout the palate.
