Jamaica! 60th birthday trip with Nell, Bardel, Peewee, Irene, Curtis. January 25-31, 2023. we stayed at Cousin Karen’s AirBnB in a little gated neighborhood right on the Ocean! Beautiful! Flew from Louisville to Miami to Montego Bay. Escorted through customs by Maurice. Well worth $50 each. He took us to our Driver Kirk at bar outside airport, where we drank RedStripe waiting for Bardel andPeewee. Miss Annette was our chef and hostess. Highlights….LeRoy’s Bar, Bamboo rafting on Martha Brae River, beach and beach dogs, side yard drinking and dancing, local food….coconuts, apple, kiwi, bananas, porridge, ackee, jerk chicken, jamaican patties, red snapper, Glistening Waters Luminous Lagoon. Flew back to Louisville late on the 31st to an ice storm. Took over an hour to get ice off the car. When we got home heat was 48 in the house, we forgot to turn the heat on!
