LAGG Single Malt Kilmory Edition is the flagship Single Malt and first core range expression to be released from LAGG Distillery. It is 100% First-Fill Bourbon Barrel matured and bottled at 46% Vol, without chill filtration and with no added colouring.
For the Kilmory Edition Lagg used Concerto malted barley and water from thier own borehole. The malt is peated to 50ppm in the kiln. Then receive it, crush it and agitate it in Lagg’s mash tun to create a cloudy wort which delivers a more oily, robust flavour. The chosen yeast and fermentation time allows Lagg to create the full-bodied flavour we’re looking for in distillation. It is then distill twice, at nearly twice the speed ofLochranza, in the handmade copper pot stills.
The taste profile is vibrant and fresh and is the cornerstone of
what LAGG Single Malt has to offer into the future. The influence of the peat combined with the vanilla and creamy influence of the American oak forms the backbone of this go-to LAGG Single Malt. It can be said that the Kilmory expression embodies the ‘house style of LAGG’ which centres around the use of Bourbon Barrels with the peated spirit.

Lagg is situated. It is Laggs home and they are proud to have their
first core range release bear the name of the place in which LAGG Single Malt was born; where the heart of distilling on Arran originated and now lives on from the ground up.
