Butterscotch leads on the nose. Freshly batched caramel sauce, English toffee, creamy peanut butter cookie goodness underlying with chocolate mousse and angel food cake with fresh strawberry and whipped cream.
The palate hits full of fresh raspberry and strawberry red fruits. Cantaloupe melon, funky wheat beer, golden raisin, and honey continue on as the spice cascades. This carries more of a creamy underlying nuttiness than any previous batch I’ve had, along with a beautiful kiss of barrel char.
The finish is long, syrupy, and spiced with caramel sauce, oak, toasted vanilla, dark chocolate, and dark fruits. The oak continues to trail long after the other notes fade.
