Description:
A limited edition whisky from Johnnie Walker, inspired by the absurdly popular television programme, Game of Thrones (in turn based off of George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire book series). Created by whisky specialist George Harper and histeam, this whisky features malts from Clynelish (aptly one of the most northern Scotch whisky distilleries) and Cardhu, among others. The bottle has a temperature-sensitive graphic that will spell out the words “Winter is here” when it’s at the right temperature for serving.
Tasting Notes
Nose Soft hints of orange Fruit Pastilles and dried apricot. Toffee, vanilla pod and ginger snaps.
Palate More vanilla again, this time paired with cinnamon and almond. Hints of fresh cherry and cut oak heat.
Finish Lingering peppery malt and festive spices.
