Tasting Notes:
This just may be the sweetest nose of the previous batches I’ve had. Big honey and date sweetness, dried cranberries and golden raisin, pops of salted melon fruit, toffee, honey dipped apples.
The palate follows similarly to the nose - lots of orchard fruits and honey. There’s still very much a blast of brown sugar, followed by vanilla coated raspberry, blackberry, and melon. Where past batches have had a larger blast of spice, this time it takes a back seat.
Caramel dipped green apples before a touch of oak, but it’s more balanced in the pour than some past blends have been. Very lively, very fresh.
