A fruity, clean and polished malt with a touch of honey and spice, Aberfeldy 12 Year Old is an excellent introduction to this Highland distillery. Aberfeldy’s main claim to fame is as the heart of the excellent Dewar’s blend but whiskies like this are putting it firmly in the spotlight.
TASTING NOTES
Scented with spiced and honeyed plump fruits.
Syrupy, with lots of vanilla and fudge and just a whisper of smoke on the finish

Classic 12-year-old single malt Scotch whiskey Old Aberfeldy, distilled in the Highlands. Although the label no longer, unfortunately, shows a red squirrel, it now comes with a fairly nice black and red-gold color palette that fits into a rich malt-flavored profile.
Aroma: creamy. Fruit with a hint of sherry, which drags a hint of smoke behind it.
Taste: sweet, malty, fine peat, but still taste very clean in the mouth.
Conclusion: malt, a timid hint of citrus.
