Title:
Spy Valley Sauvignon Blanc 750ml
Description:
Marlborough, New Zealand. 100% Sauvignon Blanc from the Waihopai Valley sub region of Marlborough. Predominantly fermented in stainless steel, but small amount of the juice was aged in aged French oak for another level of texutre and complexity. Amanda Johnson’s parents planted their first vineyard in 1993, but not until 2000 when Amanda knew that the Marlborough region was home to a very unique style of Sauvignon Blanc did she launch their new name, Spy Valley, and release their first vintage. Now they are known as one of the premier wineries of New Zealand and pioneers of the Waihopai sub-region. Certified sustainable and largest solar producing wineries in New Zealand. Textbook New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc style - bright aromas of grapefruit, lychee, and citrus that also coomes through on the palate. The mid palate is rich and textured while retaining fine acidity and elegance. Perfect pairing with oysters and crab, but also great with Thai/Asian dishes. Salads and fruit appetizers work well with the bright citrus flavors.
