Single Farm Single Malt.
Established in 2005, Kilchoman is true to Islay’s rich farm distilling heritage, using locally cut peat, slowly distilling by hand, maturing on Islay and bottling on site without colouring or chill-filtration.
The Batch Strength release, created by Anthony Wills, was matured in a combination of re-charred red wine casks, oloroso sherry butts and ex bourbon barrels. A few drops of Kilchoman spring water were added post maturation to produce a Batch Strength of 57% aby, blending the natural power and character of Kilchoman with dark fruits, rich spices and salted caramel sweetness.
