How Do Boys Wearing Skirts Still Looks Boys - I have been wearing skirts for a few years now. It took much less time than expected for me to decouple “skirts” and “feminine” in my head. Well, still skirts look very feminine to me, when worn by a girl or a woman. I still love the feeling I get when I see women and girls wearing skirts. I was a bit worried that this nice feeling should disappear when I started to wear skirts myself. It didn’t.
I was a bit wondered by this myself. But I know of at least one similar thing the other way: For lots of men the most sexy garment a woman can wear is his white dress shirt. Does this make the man feeling less masculine when wearing a suit?
Wearing a skirt accentuates certain attributes of a female body. Your eyes recognize a female, your mind tells you what to expect, and when you see more of it this will accentuate her femininity. Add your cultural background, and the skirt is a verification of femininity. If you love femininity, you love what you see. At least I do.
But if you don’t recognize the person as a female, this chain of thoughts is disrupted. Hence a skirt will not make a masculine person look feminine. If you don’t believe this statement, look at men from other cultures that wore skirt-like garments. Do Scots look feminine? What about Cesar and Jesus?
