Kilchoman Orange Wine Cask Finish 5yo

Kilchoman distillery sits nestled amongst the traditional buildings of Rockside Farm on the north-west coast of Islay. Sheltered beneath the Cnoc Dubn headland, the distillery’s barley fields stretch west to the shores of Machir Bay.

Established in 2005, Kilchoman represents the revival of traditional farm distilling; growing our own barley before malting, distilling, maturing and bottling every bottle of our 100% Islay whiskies on site.

From the founding of Kilchoman, the 100% Islay range was our reason for being; it represents the rebirth of single farm single malt, where the responsibility for growing and malting barley is not outsourced but completed on site with skill, care and attention to detail. We are proud to be Islay’s only distillery producing Single Farm Single Malt.

This 100% Islay single cask has been produced with 20ppm peated malt from our 2017 barley harvest, then matured in a bourbon barrel before being finished in an orange wine hogshead for over two years.
