Title:

Ruddell’s Mill Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey

Description:
in 1778 nestled along Stoner Creek and the South fork licking River, Isaac Ruddell founded a grist Mill creating bourbon counties first industrial district. The Mill processed grain in part used for the production of local whiskey and a generation later was the home of the now defunct Ford and Bowen Distillery. built in 1861, Ruddells Mill covered bridge provided the location with access over stoner Creek for easier transport of grain and whiskey. Rye was the most common whiskey produced in Isaac Ruddells time and Ruddells Mill rye is derived from the most traditional high-rise mesh bill recipe that was common in these early days of American whiskey. this high-rise style is defined by a whiskey with a distinct spicy profile that especially stands out in cocktails.
