This amazing little set is carved from a single block of wood. The furniture fits back together forming a block that is stored in a cardboard sleeve.
The top and bottom, which form two of the tables, have japanese inlaid wood designs. The set contains tiny bottles, goblets and even tiny flowers.
I don’t know the age of this box, but I’m guessing it’s late 1940s onward due to the use of plastic on the stem of the flowers.
The box is 120mm long by 57mm wide.
