Here is something you’ll never see on a daily basis! Yes, hand carved poppet that needs a lot of care or leave as is for Halloween I know my family would get creeped out by it, but I loved him!
He has a carved face And hands
His body has pieces of excelsior in it it’s arms have cotton batting inside of his body. There is a handle that turns his head back-and-forth and there was a wire that came down and connected his key to the inside but that is missing
His eyes seem like they are glass, but I am unsure
He had a very old stocking attached to his base which probably were his legs and some kind of shoes attached but those are missing as well.
His nose is reglued as is his neck piece, but they aren’t glued very well. His hair is either real or also some kind of wool or Excelsior. I am not sure of that either. Just nice and creepy.
He sits 19” tall

I am so happy you won him! I actually went a sale where you dug and picked. It was an old bar in wisconsin I just saw his eyes in a pile of stuff. I was so surprised it was what it was,,his face was off and then I found his torso. I dug more in case there were more parts of the missing pieces but none to be found. I had him in my basket and so many stopped me if they could buy him from me but I had to have him😃 The giu who owned hom was names Poor Richard.
