Condition
The painting is in good condition. The silk is in good condition with neither runs nor holes. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals a spot of retouching on parts of girl in the middle. Also, there are two very minor spots of foxing on pants of girl in the middle. The paint layers are intact and in stable condition. Overall, the colour of catalogue illustration is too reddish. The colour of skin tone is more subtle and more muted; not as bright as illustrated. Lastly, the leaves on upper right are more bluish green, not so yellowish green.
