Explorers of The North Sea is Part of the three-game trilogy comprising The North Sea Saga, along with Raiders and Shipwrights (both of the North Sea). The North Sea Saga is a trilogy of games that follow the progress of the Viking culture. Each game is unique and follows a different time period. All three may be played as a campaign using The North Sea Runesaga even though each is mechanically quite different.
So gather your warriors, it’s raiding season!
In addition to including components for a fifth player, Rocks of Ruin also includes three new building types, 24 tiles, five large player boards, two new captain cards, shipwrecks and fortresses. Salvaging Shipwrecks brings greater tension and decision making. Fortresses add more risk and reward when raiding.

Components for a fifth player (purple: 7 Vikings, 5 Outposts, 1 Longship).
3 New Buildings for each player to construct (1x each Player color): Mill (13x23x16mn), Barracks (16x17x16mm), Workshop (16x16x16mm).
24 New Hex Tiles, making the final map 50% larger.
24 Shipwreck tokens (cardboard hex 22mm across): 10x Timber, 6x Siege Weapons, 4x Provisions, 4x Gold, 1x blank.
5 Fortress Tokens (cardboard 40mm dia.).
5 Player Dashboards for managing tokens and buildings (cardboard, 8.25”x5.5”).
3 New Captain cards (18.5x8.5cm).
