Down in Flames - C3i Magazine Squadron Pack Nri added 64 new fighter aircraft to GMT Games popular series of WWII air combat card game.
Now Squadron Pack Nr2 provides additional bombers and patrol aircraft for the DiF system. This pack contains 64 full color aircraft cards printed 8 to a sheet (the cards need to be cut out for play). In addition, this pack includes three ways to use bomber/patrol aircraft outside of a DiF campaign (which has, up until now, been the only way in which these aircraft types could be employed). There are guidelines for adding bombers to standard DiF dogfights, rules for creating stand alone bomber missions, and, best of all, a way to dogfight with medium and heavy bombers and patrol planes. Such dogfights are called Gunnery Duels, and the inside cover of this pack forms a DiF Play Mat for playing them out which includes all of the charts and tables necessary to convert bomber statistics into equivalent fighter-type ratings.
As with Squadron Pack Nr1, some of the aircraft included here are reprints (with revised ratings) or planes that have appeared in previous DiF boxed games or DiF-C3i Magazine modules. However, most are NEW types that have never been published before.
