Expansion to Base Game: Black Powder is the 2nd expansion for Hanabi, adding 10 additional cards to your game. It offers four different game variants, including adding a sixth suit and wildcards, to keep the gameplay fresh and challenging for players.
Black Powder cards are never part of color clues and must be played 5 to 1. There are three 5s and one 1 instead of the other way around, like in the base game. The game is compatible with the base R&R version of the game (European versions of the game are not compatible with this expansion.).
Cooperative Game: Working together, players must give and receive vital information to play cards in the proper launch sequence. However, the unique twist in this game is that the players can see what cards everyone holds…except their own.
