BRAINS (Brains Family): Burgen & Drachen (Castles & Dragons) is a competitive, real-time puzzle/tile-placement board game based on the solo Brains puzzle series. In each round, an adventure card is revealed showing the required locations of castles and a dragon on each player’s board. All players simultaneously race to place path/route tiles on their personal board so that their knight can travel to all castles (and optionally the dragon). The first player to correctly complete the puzzle wins the round. After a player wins a round, fighting the dragon becomes mandatory for that player in future rounds, increasing difficulty for the leader and helping keep the game close. First player to win three rounds wins the game. Theme/art shows a medieval fantasy adventure with castles, dragons, knights, and map-like parchment artwork.
