Description:
The idea of the game is to collect treasure to an agreed total value and return it safely to a players home port. A player collects treasure by sailing from home port to visit Treasure Island. Once there- the player draws a chance card- which may give treasure- crew or access to another port for trading or to attack another ship. Crew may add fighting value or sailing strength or both- to a players ship. On attacking an opponents ship- treasure or crew are taken by the winner (the one with the greater fighting value). Fighting value is therefore important for defence as well as attack.
