Unusually for a board game, all players are working together with one aim; to capture and defeat The Hood.
This is a struggle between International Rescue and The Hood who is constantly trying to destroy aircraft in widely separated places throughout the world. A new crisis is reported every round of turns and the players, acting as a team, try to reach the alarm points with their Tunderbirds. They also try to catch The Hood himself.
There are 8 different photographs of sightings of The Hood in different worldwide locations, and the last card confirms positive identification. The Thunderbirds must react to the alarm and the chase is on to retrieve these photographs!
If International Rescue can claim all 8 photographs before The Hood has nine alarm markers on the board, they have captured him and won.
If The Hood can place nine alarm markers on the board before his 8 photographs can be claimed, he has outwitted International Rescue.
