Title:

Hare & Tortoise

Description:
This game takes its inspiration from the story of the overconfident hare falling asleep, and letting the slow tortoise overtake him.
The action takes place over a racetrack.
The aim is to win the race with no lettuces left and not more than 20 carrots. This is a race game of strategy and forward planning.
The game allows (and sometimes forces) players to move either like the hare or like the tortoise; the challenge is to try to work out which combination will win the game.
Intellect Games were famous for their range of well-designed games in the 1970s. Later editions of this game were for only up to four players, so have fewer playing pieces and cards.
