Apocalyptic Picnic

With a light-hearted campy theme and action-packed gameplay, Apocalyptic Picnic takes the family reunion to a whole new level. The ”potato salad” is tainted and everyone is turning into zombies. Be the last player to survive this picnic gone wrong and win the game! This is a card management game in which the key is in the cards and how and when they are used. By carefully managing their cards, a player must aim to wipe out all opponents and become the sole survivor!

Each player starts with a family consisting of five members (four healthy members and one zombie) and a hand of cards. On each turn, a player draws and plays cards. Offensive moves include using *BITE* cards to bite your opponents’ family members and turn them into zombies. Players are limited in the number of bites they may play based on the number of zombies they have — which means you need to keep a few of these ghoulish guys around.

Go on the defensive by playing *FOOD* or *EQUIPMENT* cards that protect players from bites. Watch out for the *PLAY NOW* cards as they impact all players and their cards in someway.

The always healing ”GrandMa’s Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup” instantly turns one of that player’s zombies back into a healthy family member. (Thanks Grandma!) The most lethal and powerful card of all — ”Suspicious Seconds”, a second heaping helping of that tainted potato salad — instantly turns a player into a zombie with an unblockable biting capacity. The last player with healthy members wins.
