Mix things up with an alternative deck of cards for your games of Root! Swap out the game’s original deck with this new set of cards, free to backers of Root: The Underworld Expansion. While the items to craft remain unchanged, players can develop over 20 new special powers. Recruit ex-Eyrie officers to help run your military operation, or dig your own tunnels through the Woodland! This deck takes the place of the base game deck (the cards have different art on the backs) and contains a fresh roster of special powers for players to craft, many based on the factions themselves. Make the people hold your rule with Soup Kitchens. Destroy others’ crafted cards with Saboteurs. Copy faction abilities with cards like Eyrie Émigré.
