Dwar7s Winter: Family Game Mode

This module for Dwar7s Winter makes the game fully co-operative. Instead of each player taking all of their actions on their turn, all players follow the Action Sequence on the Player Aid cards, with any player able to take the action, and any player’s resources can be used to pay the costs.

Backers of the 2021 Dwar7s: The Lost Tribes & Dwar7s Winter Kickstarter campaign will receive Dwar7s Winter Family Mode, which simplifies the rules and streamlines the game for children as young as 5 years old.

The Family Mode makes Dwar7s Winter fully cooperative and encourages sharing resources to fend off monsters and resolve disasters. We made just enough tweaks in the original gameplay to make it easier for kids to follow, while keeping it interesting for adults too.
