ThinkFun ”Shadows in the Forest” (Play in the Dark Strategy Game). A dark-forest themed family board game played with real shadows: one player uses an LED lantern to search for hidden ”Shadowlings” while the other players cooperatively move their Shadowlings from tree to tree to stay out of the light. The lantern light creates shifting shadows on the board and trees which become part of gameplay. If all Shadowlings can unite behind one tree, they win; otherwise the seeker aims to find/freeze them. Box front text indicates: ”PLAY IN THE DARK STRATEGY GAME” and includes ”LED Lantern & Batteries Included”. Components (per manufacturer listing) include LED lantern with batteries, 6 Shadowlings, 10 trees, glow-in-the-dark die, game board, and instructions.
