Each game takets place within à per-designed story that provides players with a unique Mao and several combinations of pilot threads. These threads affekt the monsters the investigators Maya encounter, the clues they ned to find, and which climatic story ending they will ultimately experience. One player takes on the Rolle of of the keeper, controlling the monsters and other malicious powers within the story. The other playors takes on the role of investigators, searching for answers Whitley struggling to survive with their mindes intact.
