Title:
Lucky Bears National Parks Game
Description:
Lucky Bears is a game where you collect, steal, and sneak your way to victory through the U.S. national parks! To win, be the first to fill your board with park tokens in numerical order, horizontally and vertically. Watch out for bears along the way!
We love board games, but we find that many of our family and friends shy away from games with complicated rules or lengthy playtimes. So we made a game that is friendly, approachable, and still strategic.
Expand Lucky Bears into a 4-player game by purchasing an additional copy. This way, you’ll have four player boards and two sets of tokens. We’ve tested this extensively, and it works great.
The game includes 63 National Park Tokens. Each token showcases unique and beautiful artwork of a park. The cardboard tokens are thick and have a nice weight and heft to them. The parks are numbered from 1 through 63, according to when they were established.
You’ll also find 3 Lucky Bears, 2 Hungry Bears, and 2 Greedy Bears. Each has a different power, which can really change up the game at any given moment.
The Kickstarter Edition comes with the Grizzly Expansion. Meet these grizzlies—Mama Bear, Papa Bear, Sister Bear, and Brother Bear. You can play with one, none, or all four ($5 value for FREE).
For every game sold, $1 will be donated to a national parks organization. The two organizations we will be supporting include National Park Trust and NatureBridge. We chose these organizations because of their commitment to getting kids outside.
