Synopsis:
Alice is lounging on a riverbank when she is startled by the sight of a peculiar White Rabbit, muttering anxiously to himself and plucking a watch from his pocket. Burning with curiosity—after all, she’s never seen a rabbit with a watch before, let alone a pocket in which to keep it—Alice follows him. Down, down, down the rabbit hole she tumbles, finally landing in Wonderland, a world of twisted logic and nonsensical rhymes.
As Alice soon discovers, a talking rabbit is the lest of the oddities in Wonderland. Events become “curiouser and curiouser” as she makes her way from one remarkable adventure to another. Whimsical and wonderful creatures spring to life at every turn. Join her for a never-ending tea party with the Mad Hatter, the March Hare, and the Dormouse; a weird game of croquet with the Queen of Hearts; and a truly bizarre trial, where Alice is called to testify in front of a jury of lizards, goldfish, and birds. Meet some of the most colorful and fantastic characters in all of literature: a baby-throwing Duchess, a shrieking Gryphon, a fish dressed as a footman, and a disappearing Cheshire Cat. Even Alice herself magically shrinks, grows, and changes shape as she journeys through this topsy-turvy world.
